Experience the cool waters of the Arkansas River with Whitewater Encounters rafting company. Half, full and multi-day trips are offered for beginner and advanced rafters. Meals, snacks and life jackets are included in the price. Customers are responsible for bringing proper footwear and sunscreen. Spend a day or a few days sailing on the Arkansas and Colorado rivers through whitewater rapids. Appropriate for beginners and experienced rafters, the trips are led experienced guides who will navigate the rafts downstream. Overnight camping trips are offered for those wanting to spend more time on the river. Most of excursions are available from March to October.

Choose from four river sections, Brown's Canyon, The Numbers, Royal Gorge and Parkdale/Bighorn Sheep Canyon, depending on the intensity and length of ride desired. Special rates are available for groups of 10 or more and lunch is provided for full-day trips.
